The Masters of Wisdom and Harmony of Feelings, also called Masters of the Ancient Wisdom, Mahatmas[1], Choans (tib. "chief, master"), Arhat (skr. "the worthy one"), "Brotherhood of Shambala", "elder brothers" of humanity or simply The Masters by the Theosophists, together form the so-called White Lodge. They are the guardians of the divine plan and promote its realisation during our planetary evolution. Of the twelve masters, seven always work in the physical, five remain in the spiritual.
