YHWH is considered the unpronounceable name of God and is therefore always replaced by the address Adonai (Hebrewאֲדֹנָי "My Lords", plural) in the reading of the Torah. In common usage, the name of God is usually rendered as HaShem (Hebrewהשם "the name").
