According to Rudolf Steiner, the New Jupiter will be the future fifth embodiment of our planetary system. It will immediately follow the present embodiment of our Earth after it will have passed through a spiritual world night (Pralaya). In the Apocalypse of St. John, this future Jupiter state is called the New Jerusalem.

Although the future Jupiter state lies in the future, certain insights into it can nevertheless already be gained now. When the clairvoyant consciousness is directed towards the Old Moon, from which our earthly existence has emerged, then after a while this image splits into two parts, one of which refers to the past and the other to the future state of Jupiter, which in a certain sense is a repetition of the Old Moon's existence on a higher level.
