Dynamism is one of the twelve fundamental worldviews distinguished by Rudolf Steiner and sees all world events as rooted in the dynamic interplay of forces. In the zodiac it corresponds to the sign of the Scorpio. Dynamism stands between realism and monadism.

„But there can be people who do not rise to the level of the Monad, who cannot admit that what exists are beings of different degrees of imagination, but who are also not satisfied with admitting only what spreads in external reality, but they let what spreads in external reality be dominated everywhere by forces. For example, when a stone falls to the Earth, they say: There is gravity. When a magnet attracts iron filings, they say: There is the magnetic force. They are not content merely to say: There is the magnet - but they say: The magnet presupposes that supersensibly, invisibly, there is the magnetic force which spreads everywhere. One can form such a world-view, which everywhere seeks the forces to what is going on in the world, and can call it dynamism.“ (Lit.:GA 151, p. 43)
