The Threefolding of the Social Organism - or Social Threefolding for short - is a model for social order and development that was described and elaborated by Rudolf Steiner in the years 1917-1922.

The social threefold structure describes the basic structure of a society in which the coordination of the overall social life processes is not carried out centrally by the state or a leading elite, but in which the three areas of social life: spiritual life (culture), legal life or politics and the economy administer themselves and follow their own functional principles relatively autonomously.
