Second elementary kingdom

From AnthroWiki

The second elementary kingdom is the kingdom of the form-creating beings (Lit.:GA 9, p. 153). Rudolf Steiner also calls it the elementary kingdom of free tones. It is the second condition of life that each of the seven great planetary stages of world evolution (Old Saturn, Old Sun, Old Moon, Earth, New Jupiter, New Venus, Vulcan) passes through in the course of its development. Each condition of life is further subdivided into seven conditions of form.

„The tones that resound through space are arranged according to numbers. What comes into particular consideration is that things stood in a certain way, in certain relationships to one another, from the outset. One figure could act on another in such a way that it did not injure it, or in such a way that it caused it to crumble. This was called the measure of things. Everything was ordered according to measure, number, shape. Think of the qualities of the senses, the world filled with such figures of thought: that is the second elementary kingdom. This is the basis of the third. There we have only forms woven by thoughts, the world-ether-thought.“ (Lit.:GA 93a, p. 199f)
