The Inner of Nature and the Essence of the Human Soul

Das Innere der Natur und das Wesen der Menschenseele

Thirteen public lectures in various cities 1920-1923.

Contents

From the fund of public lectures which have not yet appeared in the complete edition, this volume brings together thirteen lectures of an introductory nature from the period 1920-1923. The venues of the lectures are Solothurn, Bern, Basel, Stuttgart, Berlin and Kristiania. The volume also contains the four previously unpublished public lectures of the Berlin University Course of 1922. Each of the lectures opens up its own thematic approach to anthroposophy, starting with the aims of anthroposophy, through its insights into the inner being of the human being and its significance for science, art and religion, to the development of the human soul. An extensive appendix with newspaper reports, announcements and notebook entries rounds off the volume. If one takes into account that Rudolf Steiner's lectures always resonate with the genius loci and the latent questions of the listeners, each one of these lectures may be considered a unique presentation of anthroposophy.
