In the nineteen lectures of the "Dramatic Course", which Rudolf Steiner conducted together with Marie Steiner, the foundations for a renewal of the art of stage performance are given in a methodically structured form. The course is divided into three major parts:

I. On the actual creation of speech.

II. Direction and stagecraft.

III. The art of acting and the rest of humanity. - The explanations in the course lessons are supplemented and deepened by many concrete examples and practical exercise instructions.
