Seventeen lectures, Stuttgart 21 April to 28 September 1919 (Cycle 58 A and B, extended by "Three lectures on popular education").

In these lectures Rudolf Steiner endeavours to lead his listeners from ever new angles to the insight that immersion in anthroposophical spiritual science provides the basis for a real understanding of contemporary events and for fruitful action. The way in which he illuminates the events he took up at that time and makes their deeper connections visible is also exemplary for our time.
