The Mission of Individual Folk Souls in Connection with Germanic-Nordic Mythology

Die Mission einzelner Volksseelen im Zusammenhang mit der germanisch-nordischen Mythologie

Eleven lectures, Kristiania (Oslo) June 7-17, 1910 (Cycle 13). With a preface by Rudolf Steiner

In June 1910 Rudolf Steiner accepted an invitation from the Scandinavian Section of the Theosophical Society to give a series of lectures on "The Mission of Individual Folk Souls in Connection with Germanic-Nordic Mythology". The venue was the Nobel Institute in Oslo (then: Kristiania). The lectures comprise a systematic and authoritative presentation by Rudolf Steiner on "Folk Spirits" and "Time Spirits" as entities of the spiritual hierarchies effective in historical evolution.
