Esoteric Instructions for the First Class of the School of Spiritual Science
Nineteen lessons and seven repetition lessons, held in Dornach between 15 February and 20 September 1924, as well as four individual lessons, held in Prague, Berne and London in April and August 1924.
Fourth edition 2020. Until now, the class lessons were only available as a lavish offprint in large format. The step to bundle them in one volume and also to integrate them into the series of GA volumes in terms of format corresponds to a need that must be taken seriously today. Whereas the acquisition of the volumes used to be linked to conditions, which the large-format edition with its special position in the complete works also expressed externally, the integration into the whole of the GA volumes also means a "levelling". This means that what is true of Rudolf Steiner's entire oeuvre applies to the Class Lessons: it consists of printed books that only come to life through reading and the inner work associated with it, whether this work is of a philosophical or esoteric nature. Only this work creates the actual protection, and it is at the same time the prerequisite for spiritual effectiveness.
