Anthroposophy and its Opponents 1919 - 1921

Two member lectures, six public lectures and various concluding remarks and communications in various cities 1919 to 1921.

Contents

Soon after the First World War, a growing opposition of reactionary circles, including those of the mainstream churches, who were suspicious of anything new and future-oriented, had chosen Rudolf Steiner as their opponent; they did not even shy away from massive personal denigration. Rudolf Steiner characterised the methods of his opponents and contrasted the many distortions with the true picture of anthroposophy. - The lectures published here for the first time are commented on in detail and made accessible for today's understanding. They give a vivid picture of the struggles for anthroposophy among the public at that time.
