Critical rationalism is a philosophical school of thought founded by Karl Popper. He describes it as an attitude to life that "admits that I can be wrong, that you can be right, and that together we may get to the truth". It is characterised by a cautiously optimistic view of life and things, expressed in the book titles "All Life is Problem Solving" and "In Search of a Better World".
