Revelation

Revelation (Greek: αποκάλυψις apokalypsis; Hebrew: גלה galah) in the religious sense refers to the unveiling of hitherto hidden spiritual facts given through supersensory experience. The revelations are conveyed either by visions or, more rarely, by auditions and usually give prophecies for the future.
