- Function: This template serves to present text in Arabic language and font in a uniform and more readable way. It also helps browsers and search engines to deal with the text better by indicating the direction of writing and the language of the text (=Arabic).
Optionally, various transcriptions as well as the meaning of the word can also be indicated. - Usage:
{{ar|text in Arabic script|w=Wikipedia transcription|d=DMG transcription|b=English meaning}} - Optional parameters:
|w=Wikipedia transcription|d=transcription of the German Oriental Society (DMG)|b=English meaning of the word (translation).
