Italiano: Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (inv. nr. 9109). Da Herculaneum, Basilica - L'affresco mostra il centauro Chirone, pedagogo di Achille, che insegna all'eroe ancora giovinetto l'uso della lira. Il prototipo per questo affresco non è stato un altro dipinto ma una statua che Plinio il Vecchio ricorda era esposta a Roma nei Saepta Iulia.
