Introduction to the Fundamentals of Theosophy

Einführung in die Grundlagen der Theosophie

Three lecture series from the years 1907, 1908 and 1909, which Rudolf Steiner gave on his journeys to Hanover, through the Netherlands and to Rome.

Contents

The central and common theme of these lecture series is the description of the Christian and Rosicrucian path of initiation. In contrast to the training in thinking of the old yoga path, the Christian training path focuses on the training of feeling through several stages. The Rosicrucian training, on the other hand, which is currently the most contemporary, is about working on one's own will nature. The embedding of the presentation of concrete stages and processes in larger mythological and historical contexts and the expansion of the perspective beyond birth and death is remarkable.
